About

Alex Stoddard (known in the music world as A$tod), is a lifelong creative with a love for authentic storytelling. He first picked up a camera in elementary school, founding Game Time TV, a basketball mixtape & mini-documentary YouTube channel. Filming future NBA stars like Donovan Mitchell and Karl Anthony-Towns, Game Time TV racked up almost 500,000 total views before Alex was in high school.

In high school, while facing an injury that kept him off the basketball court, he developed his love for music production. That love would ultimately earn him a Billboard #1 album during his sophomore year of college, when he produced Rod Wave’s gold-certified single OMDB, which also charted at #89 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Another basketball injury, this time in college, eventually led him back behind the camera, directing the feature-length documentary Sideline Story, a film that shines light on the Division III college basketball experience and reflects on not only his, but his teammates’ love for the game and each other.

While playing at Williams College, Stoddard helped lead the Ephs to three straight NCAA tournament experiences, including two Sweet 16 runs. After his grad-transfer season at Babson College, he began production on his next film, a deeply personal Boston-based documentary. Additionally, as the Head of Creative & Content for the Draft League, a unique middle school basketball league in the Boston area, he helped to grow the league’s social following as well as promote the league’s players and coaches.
